HortPark and Kent Ridge Park

HortPark is a one-stop gardening resource hub that brings together gardening-related, recreational, educational, research and retail activities.  The Butterfly Garden, Lifestyle Corner and the Flora Walk are some of the highlights of this ten-hectare park.

Next, we proceed to Kent Ridge Park – a historical park where one of the last battles for Singapore was fought during the World War II.  Highlight includes a Canopy Walk – an elevated boardwalk of 280m long linking HortPart to Kent Ridge Park.

What to bring/wear: Raincoat, insect repellent, drink and snacks. Wear light and use covered walking shoes.

Meeting Place/Time:  HortPark office area at 8.30am.

Note: Group will commence walk at 8.45am.
