SAC to Dairy Farm, Dairy Farm Quarry, and Singapore Quarry

SAC to Dairy Farm, Dairy Farm Quarry, and Singapore Quarry – 24 March 2024

We will cover the Dairy Farm trails and the education centre before proceeding to Dairy Farm Quarry – a scenic spot where rock climbers once frequent.  Next to it is the Singapore Quarry which is scenic and peaceful, also a place for avid bird-watchers and 10 minutes from Rail Mall.

What to wear/bring:  Wear light with covered shoes, cap, umbrella or rain coat, drinks and snacks, insects repellent, etc.

Date :  Sunday, 24 March 2024 at 8.30am.

Meeting Place: Meet at Hillview MRT exit A at road level.  Those driving can park at Dairy Farm Road carpark A.

Time :  0830-1130hrs

Note:  Group will leave at 8.45am sharp

Fee: Free for SAC members and $5 for non-members

Level of Difficulty: *Easy / Simple

1· Contact the trip leader by using the contact number indicated.

2. Await acknowledgement and further instruction from the trip leader.

* Easy (e.g. short local day hike)

** Moderate (e.g. G. Panti trek/Mt. Ophir 3 days)

*** Moderate to Strenuous (e.g. Mt. Ophir 1-2 days)

**** Strenuous (e.g. G. Tahan/Nepal Trek)

1) Activities are meant for members and the Club.

2) There will be no refund for withdrawal from an activity.

3) Transfer of fee to another activity is not allowed.

4) Generally, places are available on a first-come- first-served basis.

5) Activities are subject to the rules in the MC (Management Committee) and the Activity Handbook.

6) Date and cost of activities may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
